The Dafina Castle (Kalaja e Dafinës)

It cannot be visited up close, due to the lack of a road; the ruins of the Dafina castle are located on the hill above the village of Zoçishtë, in the eastern part of the village. The castle took its name from the laurel (dafina) tree that covers the whole area. According to the village head (E.K), inside the castle there are stairs-tunnels that have an exit at the water spring in the village. The site could be of great interest for tourism in this area.
