The Tekke of Sheikh Ilaz

The tekke of the Rifai order dates from the 19th century and, together with the Kadiri Order, is among the first and oldest orders. It has a tomb and many elements and important items that testify to the tradition and heritage of this religious temple. It continues to serve for prayer and religious ceremonies to this day. There has been work and reworking with wood and quality stone, especially after the liberation war, and an expansion of the complex both inside and outside the building, with the aim of creating conditions and space as suitable as possible for the believers.
